Sheets and Forms...
Sadly, this was a day that I missed and this was definitely a day that I really wanted to be present for...well, thank goodness for rewindable learning! Now I know just have powerful rewindable learning is - here I am, with time left after my Google Educator Level 1 Exam, to explore Week 4 of our DFI Course (probably something I should have prepped before today!)
Google Sheets are a digital tool that I use frequently in my learning hub. I use Sheets for grouping children into flexible groups for literacy and numeracy, to gather and store assessment data and I have used it to teach statistics to my learners - who doesn't love an instant bar graph or pie chart!
Forms too, is something that I often have to use - sending out information to parents and asking for parents helpers for a trip, cycle safety information etc. I have always relied on members of my team to assist me with this, so it has been great to be able to learn how to do these myself - I have just created one for Cycle Safety, which is happening next term in our learning hub and below is a screen shot of it.
